Patronal Feast of St. Dionysius
The patron saint of Crotone is celebrated on October 9.
The festivities in honor of St. Dionysius the Areopagite, Patron of Crotone will begin at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 9 with the Arrangement of tractors in Cathedral Square for the blessing.
At 10 a.m. there will be the Solemn Eucharistic Liturgy, blessing of the fruits and seeds of the earth.
In the afternoon, St. Dionysius and his faithful will walk through the streets of the city in procession.
