Raspberry and Blueberry Festival

At the foot of Mount Cuar lies the Village of Avasinis, which owes its notoriety to two "Treasures" that grow abundantly here: the Blackberry and the Raspberry. On the second weekend of August, the village welcomes numerous visitors from Friuli and beyond, invited by the flavors and colors of this Festival, where in addition to a very rich food and wine offer, one can taste decidedly original delicacies. Raspberry and Blueberry will be used not only for classic desserts, but also for the preparation of Risottos, Dumplings, Breads, Focacce, Cjarsons, Blueberry vinegar salami, Ice creams, Cakes, Tarts, crepes, and syrups, and you can also buy the fresh fruits picked on the day. In addition to the gastronomic specialties, every day in the streets of the village there will be concerts, music, and educational playful workshops for children and young people who can learn while having fun, old crafts.
