26th Porcini Mushroom Festival

In Upper Sannio, Benevento, surrounded by lush hills and unspoiled forest, lies the ancient village of Norman origin of Castelpagano. Where there is forest there are mushrooms, and here the mushroom is His Majesty the Porcino, which is used in many typical, innovative and gourmet dishes and to which the festival is dedicated. The nine-day festival offers an intense program of events and activities: Agro-Food Reviews, Pizza Tasting with Porcini and Typical Dishes prepared by the Chefs of the Hotel School of Termoli, Live Music, AperiFungo, Choreographic Competition, Street Performances by Street Artists, Concert. Not to be missed is the Excursion to the Trek Cave once the refuge of the Briganti and the guided walk between Borgo and Nature.
