San Vito sullo Ionio, spirituality and craftsmanship

A stop along the Calabria Coast to Coast trekking route, San Vito sullo Ionio, in the province of Catanzaro, is a municipality in the Serre Calabresi with much to offer those who wish to discover it. It begins with the church of San Vito Martire, patron saint of the town, celebrated in June and October, then continues with the beautiful church of the Annunziata, the former spinning mill, the artisan pipe workshops and, in the surroundings of the village, Lake Acero.
